What Sets Us Apart

A CODiE Award win is a big deal for a reason. Each nominated product receives a detailed review by two expert judges (teachers and administrators in EdTech categories and executives, product leaders, investors, consultants and press in business tech categories).

Products are judged against category specific criteria, and all nominees receive detailed feedback from their judges that can be used in marketing, promotions and to help guide future product development.

Top rated products from the first round of review are elevated to finalists, and all finalists will receive a second-round peer review by SIIA members and teams of experts, providing even more exposure for your product.

The scores of both rounds are combined to determine the winners, and the winners are announced during a special awards celebration.

You’re in good company. The CODiE Awards levels the playing field between industry giants and startups, so the very best products make it to the winners circle.

What You need to Nominate

To enter, please complete the brief award nomination form between November 16, 2020 and January 29, 2021.

  • Product name
  • Product description & URL (max 1500 characters)
  • Product launch date
  • Company name
  • Contact information for two people (we advise at least one person be from the nominating company)
  • Select the category you want to nominate in (you may nominate in as many categories as you wish, additional fees apply with each category added) and provide a sentence on why your company fits into that category (max 300 characters)
  • Upload supporting materials (optional)
  • Payment information
  • You may start a nomination and save your info to return and complete it later.
  • If you are nominating different products you will need to complete a separate nomination form for each product

Join and Save on Your CODiE Award Entry Fee

Become an SIIA member and receive a CODiE Award nomination for free! SIIA members always pay less, but for qualifying new members*, your first CODiE Award nomination will cost absolutely nothing. To learn more about SIIA membership, contact membership. If you complete your CODiE Award nomination prior to joining SIIA, a credit of up to $995 will be applied to your first-year membership dues.

*Applies only to organizations that have not been an SIIA member in the past three years (expired July 31, 2017 or earlier).

The CODiEs are a must-do especially for companies and products seeking to validate their place in the market. Furthermore, the experience going through nomination and judging forces companies to look at their product from a different perspective. I find this is a helpful part of developing effective marketing materials and messaging.
