This week I am turning the camera on one of our own, Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA), Founder and President, and my boss, Ken Wasch. His long-standing interest in computers and software, coupled with the industry's need for a central trade association, led him to establish the Software Publishers Association (SPA) in 1984 with an initial group of 25 software firms. In 1999, Wasch led the association to its merger with the Information Industry Association, resulting in the formation of SIIA, where he has remained President.

Now as Ken gets ready to retire at the end of 2018, after leading SIIA for 34 years, I am sitting down with him to look back on his career, how our industry has changed over the years and get his thoughts on the future of software.
