Kiplinger Names Stevens as VP of Content
Kiplinger has appointed Sarah Stevens as vice president, content, to lead editorial operations across the company's multiple distribution channels, including Kiplinger's Personal Finance, Kiplinger's Retirement Report, Kiplinger.com and the iconic Kiplinger Letter dating back to 1923.
The announcement was made by Knight Kiplinger, editor in chief and president, Kiplinger. Stevens replaces Kevin McCormally, who retired in March. She brings extensive senior level management and publishing experience to Kiplinger, most recently leading the federal tax publishing division of Wolters Kluwer and prior to that Bloomberg BNA.

Ellis Named Director of Sales at Lessiter Media
Earlier this year, Lessiter Media promoted publisher and senior account executive Michael Ellis to director of sales. In his expanded role, Ellis is responsible for overseeing sales and sponsorships across all Lessiter Media titles (including print, event and digital sponsorships) as well as the ongoing development and management of the sales and advertising services staff.

John McGovern Acquires M&A Firm W.B. Grimes
Media industry M&A advisory firm W.B. Grimes & Co. has been acquired by John McGovern, a senior associate and seven-year veteran of the firm, for an undisclosed sum.
The newly renamed Grimes, McGovern& Associates will be led by McGovern as CEO; former owner and president Larry Grimes, whose father Walter founded the firm in 1959, will transition to chairman and advisor.
