SIIA’s TechChats provides a look into some of the most successful executives in our industry. Hear how many of them got to where they are today, what is shaping their businesses and the industry today, and special advice they would give to others trying to grow a successful company.

This week I caught up with Todd Brekhus President of myON and recent recipient of the 2017 Lifetime Achievement CODiE Award.  Todd is an education technology entrepreneur and created the strategy behind myON. He was previously VP and Chief Marketing Officer for PLATO Learning (now Edmentum), President and COO of Learning Elements, and Education Program director for MCI WorldCom, where he was the co-creator of the renowned Marco Polo (now Thinkfinity) program. He also spent eight years as a technology leader in schools. Todd has been an ongoing contributor to advancing technology use in education throughout his career and it was an honor to present him with the 2017 CODiE Award for Lifetime Achievement. His passion for what he does comes through clearly as he talks about his career and the state of education in our country and around the world.
