It’s that time of year again when we are in search of experts in the Business Technology and Education Technology industries for the 2018 CODiE award cycle. You may be asking yourself “What classifies me as an expert in these industries?” If you are an Educator or Administrator we are looking for your expertise to judge the Education Technology categories. If you are an Executive, Analyst, Consultant, or a Project Leader we need your expertise to judge the Business Technology categories.
Below are a few important pieces to keep in mind when you consider becoming a CODiE Judge.
CODiE Awards—for over 30 years, the SIIA CODiE Awards have honored thousands of software, education, and information and media products for achieving excellence. The CODiE Awards remain the only peer-recognized program in the business and education technology industries so each CODiE Award win serves as incredible market validation for a product’s innovation, vision, and overall industry impact.
How it Works— the CODiE Awards are judged in two phases; First Round Expert Review, which is done by industry experts, such as yourself and then by SIIA Member’s in Round Two.
Expectations —as a judge you will be expected to evaluate up to five (5) products in any one of your preferred categories. All demonstrations are conducted virtually and take approximately 45-minutes to 1-hour with questions per product. After you complete your review, you'll be asked to fill out a scoring survey that contains a set of category-specific criteria.
