Access Intelligence Acquires AdExchanger
Access Intelligence has announced the acquisition of AdExchanger, an integrated media and events company focused on digital advertising and marketing, in a move that gives AI a dominant position in the fast-growing programmatic-ad market. The company already owns the AdMonsters brand, a leader in the ad-operations space.
By acquiring AdExchanger, Access Intelligence is looking to capitalize on the massive growth of programmatic advertising, expected to grow by 31% in 2017, faster than all other advertising formats. According to Zenith’s Programmatic Marketing Forecasts, programmatic will account for 58% of digital display advertising this year, up from just 13% in 2013.
“Our vision is to deliver best-in-class intelligence and connection points for our business communities, and AdExchanger does that in remarkable ways,” said AI CEO Don Pazour. Access Intelligence’s Media/Communications Group, led by SVP Diane Schwartz, includes AdMonsters, PR News, Cynopsis, Folio:, min, Cablefax, Studio Daily, and The Social Shake-Up. Founder John Ebbert will continue to serve as publisher of AdExchanger.
Ossoff Loses Congressional Race
Republican Karen Handel defeated Democrat Jon Ossoff in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District, retaining a seat that has been in GOP hands since 1979 after a grueling, four-month campaign that earned the distinction of being the most expensive House race in history.
Ossoff is the son of 2013 SIPA Hall of Fame inductee Richard Ossoff, president and CEO of longtime SIPA member Strafford, which helps attorneys and business professionals get the information they need to stay on the cutting edge.
SIPA Europe Schedules an Executive Roundtable

BLR Releases the New Safety ToolBox Trainer
Business & Legal Resources (BLR), a leading provider of compliance and training solutions in the B2B arena, has announced the release of Safety ToolBox Trainer.
Safety ToolBox Trainer allows safety professionals to manage and train on the go, select from hundreds of safety topics, maintain safety training records, and record safety observations in one central location.
The new website is also accompanied by an app that allows users to easily manage meetings and safety observations anywhere, anytime, and from any device.
