Connectiv Audience Marketing Council Releases Marketing Personas Survey and White Paper

Buyer or marketing personas are fictional, generalized representations of ideal customers that can help everyone from marketing to sales to content creators better target and better serve their customer base. 

Connectiv's Audience Marketing Council has developed both a survey on how Connectiv members view and use marketing personas, as well as a white paper that details the definition of a persona, why use on and to develop a persona. According to the survey, nearly 30 percent of Connectiv members are currently using marketing personas. Among respondents not currently using personas, 59.9 percent plan to develop personas over the next 12 months.
