Here’s a great way to start off your new year – celebrate an accomplished woman colleague or peer in B2B by nominating her for the prestigious Gertrude Crain Award.

A Women’s Council initiative, the Award honors Gertrude Crain, chairman of Crain Communication and a legendary figure in B2B media, and recognizes a current woman executive. Gertrude Crain was the longtime treasurer of Crain Communications before becoming chairman in 1973; she led Crain for more than 20 years until 1996 when she passed away at the age of 85. Our 2015 Gertrude Crain Award recipient was Fawn Lopez, vice president and publisher, Modern Healthcare.

We’re counting on you to nominate a woman who has an extraordinary record of achievement and leadership within your company and in her overall service to the B2B community. This recognition will both inspire others and highlight how the individual and your company honor diverse contributions to our industry.

Here’s a link to a full description and nomination page for the award.

Entries are due by Friday, February 12, 2016.  The Award will be presented at the Neal Awards Luncheon, April 1 in New York City.
