The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Announces New Vice President of Membership and Marketing

WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 29, 2019) – The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industry, announces Michelle Harris as its Vice President of Membership and Marketing.

Harris joins SIIA with over 15 years of experience in marketing and communications and an extensive executive career in nonprofits. Her expertise in operations, marketing strategy and research-driven solutions has led to increased revenue and member engagement.

As the Vice President of Membership and Marketing, Harris will lead member recruitment and retention efforts; build and develop relationships with members and partners; and lead the association’s marketing and branding strategy.

“I’m looking forward to exploring new ways to tell the SIIA story and engage with our members,” said Harris. “My plan is to refine our content strategy to grow membership, deepen engagement, and advance our vision of the future.”

Harris most recently served as the Vice President of Membership, Marketing and Development at the News Media Alliance where she led the marketing, branding and external affairs initiatives. Her prior leadership roles include Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Programs at NABA, Inc., National Director of Partnerships at the Clean Economy Network, and Senior Director of Membership and Events at the Electric Drive Transportation Association.
